西北大學全球村活動 台灣同學會表現出色

芝加哥西北大學法學院國際學生主辦的「全球村活動」13日晚（當地時間）在校園熱烈展開。台灣同學會表現出色，華航機票摸彩更是活動高潮。

芝加哥西北大學法學院（Northwestern Law School）國際學生主辦的「全球村活動」昨晚在校園熱烈展開。台灣同學會推出台灣美食、展覽及舞蹈表演，表現出色。
由法學院院長范山德（David Van Zandt）主持開幕的「全球村活動」是西北大學一年一度的盛事。今年共有阿根廷、巴西、加拿大、智利、中國、哥倫比亞、丹麥、衣索匹亞、法國、德國、迦納、印度、愛爾蘭、以色列、義大利、日本、黎巴嫩、墨西哥、巴基斯坦、巴拿馬、菲律賓、奈及利亞、塞內加爾、瑞士、台灣、泰國及烏干達等20幾個國家的留學生參加。
20多位來自台灣同學會的成員穿著台灣原住民的服裝，在台灣美食攤位前介紹台灣的風土人情，播放台灣觀光影片並進行有獎徵答。中華航空公司特別提供一張芝加哥往返台北的機票供抽獎，另外，芝加哥華僑文教中心也提供了100個牛年小燈籠作為獎品。
駐芝加哥台北經濟文化辦事處處長申佩璜、新聞組主任李文琦及僑教中心主任陳永豐也參加了「全球村活動」。
「全球村活動」吸引了400多位賓客。在文化技藝展演時，台灣同學會推出的山地舞獲得熱烈掌聲。由法學院長主持的華航機票摸彩更是活動的高潮。

Annual Chinese New Year Show -- Celebrasia

Dear ROCSA members,

TASC/CSA ( the undergraduate Chinese Students Association) are hosting the annual Chinese New Year Show -- Celebrasia. The show is on Jan 31, Saturday at 7 PM. You all are welcome to come and enjoy the Celebraisa with TASC/CSA members.

Our show includes performance from student groups and professional groups. It will be very entertaining! Free food after the show as well!!!
